We are pleased to announce the 3rd annual OSSA SnoSports Expo and convention held at Linn County Fair and Expo October 28th and 29th. This event for the Oregon State Snowmobile Association was developed to increase membership, improve education, and attract more attention to the sport of snowmobiling in Oregon. The SnoSports Expo is built around a theme of equipment, manufacturers, representatives, and dealers that have something to offer every level of snowmobile operator. New model sleds, prototypes, high performance aftermarket parts, outfitting gear, and trailers are just a small sampling of the types of exhibitors that are participating. This will be complimented by a large offering of used equipment by commercial vendors as well as private sellers. It is also our intent to attract as many site operators and resort owners from as many regions as possible. No snow sport is successful without a location that is desirable to the sport, and we wish to have popular resort exhibitors that will attract all winter sports fans to the show. We are excited to welcome back the World Snowmobile Association (WSA) snowmobile water show this year. The water show consists of drag racing, oval, and freestyle air over water demonstrations, and will be presented in two exhibitions of Saturday, October 29th at TimberLinn Park. This program will impress motorsports fans of all ages. We have also secured an area at TimberLinn Park for our first annual grass drag event. All daily passes will be $8 for adults, with children under 6 free. A two-day pass is $12 for adults. Admission to the events are included with Expo passes. There will be a banquet style dinner for OSSA members on Saturday following the events, and special training modules for anyone interested during both days of the Expo.
