Not all environmentalists demands are beneficial A recent disclosure by the Washington Times weekly magazine "Insight" reveals the World Trade Center collapse and deaths may be tied directly to construction changes due to environmental activists. The report states the original building design included survival of the impact of a full-fuel loaded Boeing 707 airplane including four hours of ensuing fire before steel beams would be weakened. Long enough for complete evacuation, and safe removal of injured. Environmental activists demanded removal of the insulation material from the steel beams. The New York authorities bowed to their demands. What more will it take for the country to awaken and realize the incredible cost these activists place on our country and us individually? Personally I am incensed. Any governing person reading this needs to realize that not all environmentalists demands are for the good of the people. Demands must be supported by facts and alternatives, or should be discarded. There must be balance and tradeoffs, instead of the insanity we have been witnessing the past two decades. There must be accountability. Talk to your congressman. Milo Pitcher |
