| I will be giving two free lectures titled “Introduction to Avalanches” on 1 / 29 and 2 / 12 both will be from 6 - 8 PM. They will be in Medford and folks interested should call 541-732-1620 for location and details. I would also be interested in bringing this lecture to your town. |
| I will also be teaching three “Avalanche Level I” courses. This is an 18 hour intensive course that covers the basics of Avalanche hazard evaluation, safe riding techniques for Avalanche terrain, self and team rescue and much more. The dates are 2 / 7 - 9, 2 / 21 - 23 and 2 / 28 - 3 / 2 these are all Friday - Sunday. Friday is 6 - 8 PM, Saturday and Sunday are 8 - 4. Folks interested should call 732-1620 for details. I am offering a discounted price to all club members of $190, the regular price for this course is $225 per student. |
